Ajax demos
- Atlas demo with Europe map
I've been playing around a bit with the April CTP release of Atlas, Microsoft's upcoming framework for Ajax applications. This is a small live demonstration in ASP.NET 2.0 which show a basic map display with pinpointed locations. [2006]

Java 2D effects
I have always been interested in creating fast and cool graphics effects. Here are a few examples of old-school demo effects, rewritten in Java for your viewing pleasure.
- The Blob
This is my version of something often referred to as meta-balls. The physics idea of this emulation is based on simulated gravity acting on mass distribution. The effect is quite familiar to the old lava lamps, where the slimy material inside shapeshifts as a result of the heat. [2000]

Most people remember the Mandelbrot fractals calculated in glorious 4-bit color during the eighties. The Julia set has a close relation to the Mandelbrot set, since the Mandelbrot set is the set of complex numbers to which there are continuous Julia sets. This morph is created in real-time by changing the constant value in the complex iteration procedure, thus creating different Julia sets. [2000]

Web site design and implementation
I have done web sites since 1994. Even though I'm not a designer, I enjoy working with web sites in every aspect from initial drafts to the actual launch. I love clean markup and design. Why? Read my article on using web standards.
- Dubbeldissarklubben
Online since 1999, this Swedish site has since served the public with obtrusive movie reviews. For some strange reason there seems to be a lot of visitors with a love for Josh Hartnett.
I tried to create a cinema feeling with the logo image shot at Rigoletto in Stockholm. The rest of the photos were shot in Gothenburg, Los Angeles and San Francisco. [1999]

This site was initially created by me in 1994 to be the virtual home of demo crew Impulse. Back then, the web was quite an empty place and this was one of the very first Atari related sites on the net. The purpose of the site is to keep the 8-bit legacy of demo crew Impulse available. [1994]

I was asked by the band to create a new look for their website. The style and graphics are deliberately kept very simple and similar to the cover for their latest record. Standards-compliant handwritten markup and a small php-based shop function. (They later changed the site into ASP.NET which broke the markup, but I was not involved in that work.) [2006]
Visit site - Club Harrow Road
A small site made very quickly to promote this cool music club based in Örebro, arranged by Stefan from hard-hitting EBM duo Spetsnaz. Since it is an electronic club with heavy German influences, I wanted to bring out that feeling by using my own photo of a s-bahn stop in Berlin as well as the cold iron mesh in the top image. Colors are set to metallic blue, army green and dark red to match the industrial theme. [2006]

I programmed my first game in 1989 but the first public release came eight years later.
- Corsair
A shoot-em-up game written in Motorola 68030 assember for the Falcon. Great graphics by Mandus Skön.
I've coded other games as well but this was my first public release. Featuring support for two players, a lot of funky levels, original enemies and wacky sound effects. Awaken the necromancer within, resurrect your old Atari computer and download this game. [1997]

The winning demo contribution at Nordic Atari Show -96. Also known as the only demo you'll ever find with a 3D-Toilet.
Featuring: filled 3D-vector graphics, sphere mapping, Julia/Sierpinski fractals, z-rotation mapping, raytraced pictures 4-channel music and much more. A total of three parts with transparent loader/depacker. [1996]

This little demo won the demo competition at Compusphere and was broadcasted on TV. After a sleepless night of coding, I was so tired during the TV interview that I couldn't even remember the content of the demo.
