Google Wave not supporting Internet Explorer

If you've been living under a rock for last months, you might have missed the buzz surrounding a new kid on the block: Google Wave. As usual, most people seem to misunderstand it but still claim it's better than sliced bread.

Anyway, Google made an interesting statement the other day that they will not support Internet Explorer. In any version. That's right, they spit on the most popular browser on the planet and I'm having a grin from ear to ear. This is the boldest thing I've seen in a while.

Internet Explorer users must install Chrome Frame, an open source plugin which replaces IE's rendering engine with WebKit. You simply add a meta element which triggers Chrome Frame. The only noticeable difference seems to be a little delay when the meta tag is interpreted.

One can't help but wonder what Microsoft will do, but they seem to be busy with the most stupid advertising I've seen in a long time, as well as doing ethnic discrimination.
