I live in the coastal city of Gothenburg. You may easily spot me having a mezzo at Matteo, dressed in black on the dance floor of industrial clubs or roaming deserted streets on cold autumn days.

I've been singing from the stage of Moulin Rouge, shook hands with Elton John, danced waltz at the Swedish Championships and assisted a fire juggler in San Francisco without burning to ash.

I work as a systems developer at NetRelations, where I enjoy creating modern accessible web sites based on web standards. I have been doing stuff for the web since 1994 and loved every second of it.

I once started writing HTML code in Emacs on Solaris and viewing it in NCSA Mosaic. Since then a lot has changed but when it comes to the web, I'm still an idealist. I want it to be a great sea of information exchange for everyone on the planet, regardless of any obstacles whether they be social, cultural or geographical. The web has made communication, cooperation and daily life a lot easier for millions of people in just a decade of time. Since it is people who use the web, we should make it accessible to people.

Passions and leisure

Reine in London

Travelling is one of my biggest passions which provides me with endless amounts of inspiration. I love to walk around in large cities, surrounded by the creative chaos of mankind. I despise Charles de Gaulle airport almost as much as I love Coldstone ice cream.

Music is an essential part of my life and I visit a lot of clubs and concerts, mostly towards synth/goth/industrial. I started listening to Depeche Mode way back in 1984 and I've been hooked to all kinds of electronic music ever since.

I enjoy scuba diving, snowboard bashing, chocolate from Michel Cluizel and an occasional game of beach volley. I grew up coding assembly language for breakfast and I still think that Brussels sprouts should be forbidden by law.

As a frequent visitor to cinemas, I used to write brutally honest reviews/rants afterwards at Dubbeldissarklubben. But contrary to common belief, I don't run the official Josh Hartnett fan club.
